Austronesian Diaspora and The Ethnogeneses of People in Indonesian Archipelago

This book of proceedings contains papers that were presented in the symposium. As it discusses new findings and insights about Austronesian studies from various perspectives (paleoclimate and paleogeography, paleoanthropology, anthropology, genetics, archaelogy, and linguistcs), the publication of this proceeding is a step forward for the study of Austronesia. It reveals how interesting the study of Austronesia is and that there are still many problems that require explanation. The presence of this publication is expected to encourage the development of the study about Austronesia not only in Indonesia but within its geographical area of dispersal as well.
